Senator Aminu Waziri Tambuwal has received the Vice Presidential Candidate of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi on courtesy visit, describing the visit as a important step toward building a united political platform capable of providing credible leadership for Nigerians.

Speaking after the meeting on Thursday, the former Sokoto State governor congratulated Amaechi on his emergence as the party’s vice-presidential candidate. He said Amaechi’s experience in public service and commitment to democratic values would strengthen the ADC’s vision of national renewal.
Tambuwal said their discussions focused on the need for patriotic Nigerians to work together in restoring hope, strengthening democracy, and building an inclusive political platform that reflects the aspirations of citizens.
He also welcomed the judgment of the Federal High Court affirming the leadership of David Mark as head of the ADC, describing the ruling as a victory for the rule of law, constitutional democracy, and due process.
According to him, the judgment has removed uncertainties surrounding the party’s leadership, allowing members to concentrate on strengthening the ADC and presenting Nigerians with what he described as a credible alternative based on justice, inclusion, competence, and national renewal.
Tambuwal urged party members to remain united and committed to the task ahead, saying the journey requires sacrifice and collective resolve to deepen democracy and advance the country’s progress.
