Tambuwal Condoles Tureta Community Over Deadly Bandit Attacks

Former Governor of Sokoto State and Senator representing Sokoto South Senatorial District, Aminu Waziri Tambuwal, has expressed deep sorrow over the recent bandit attacks on Dangulbi community in Tureta Local Government Area of Sokoto State.

In a statement, Tambuwal described the attacks, which claimed innocent lives, destroyed property, and displaced families, as painful and unacceptable.

The Senator said the repeated attacks on innocent citizens pose a serious threat to the peace and security of communities across the Sokoto-Zamfara axis.

“These repeated attacks on innocent citizens are painful, unacceptable, and a direct assault on the peace and security of our communities.”

Tambuwal said his thoughts and prayers remain with the families of those who lost their loved ones, residents injured during the attacks, and all those affected by the tragic incident.

He prayed for Allah’s mercy upon the deceased and for strength and patience for their families during the difficult period.

“I pray that Almighty Allah (SWT) forgives the shortcomings of the deceased, grants them Aljannatul Firdausi, and gives their families the strength and patience to bear these painful losses.”

The former governor also prayed for the quick recovery of those injured and the safe return of residents abducted during the attacks.

Tambuwal further called on security agencies to intensify efforts towards restoring peace and strengthening protection for vulnerable communities affected by banditry.

“Our people deserve to live in safety and pursue their livelihoods without fear.”

He urged residents to remain united and continue supporting all genuine efforts aimed at ending insecurity and restoring lasting peace in the region.

“We must remain united and resolute in supporting every genuine effort aimed at ending banditry and restoring lasting peace to our communities.”
