Tambuwal Calls for Unity, Sacrifice, Compassion in Eid-el-Kabir Message

Senator Aminu Waziri Tambuwal has urged Nigerians to embrace the values of sacrifice, unity, compassion, and obedience to Allah as Muslims across the world celebrate the 2026 Eid-el-Kabir festival.

In a goodwill message released on Wednesday by his Media Office, the former Sokoto State governor described Eid al-Adha as a solemn reminder of faith, selflessness, and total submission to the will of Allah, as demonstrated by Prophet Ibrahim (AS).

Tambuwal called on citizens to reflect on the importance of peaceful coexistence, generosity, and extending support to vulnerable members of society amid the country’s prevailing socio-economic challenges.

“As we celebrate with our families and loved ones, let us continue to pray for lasting peace, unity, and progress in our dear country, Nigeria,” he said.

The former Speaker of the House of Representatives also prayed for Allah to accept the sacrifices and supplications of Muslims, while wishing the faithful a peaceful and fulfilling celebration.

“May Allah (SWT) accept our sacrifices, answer our prayers, and grant us renewed hope and abundant blessings,” Tambuwal added.
