Tinubu Presents Shettima with APC Running Mate Certificate for 2027 Election

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has formally presented Vice President Kashim Shettima with his certificate of nomination as the All Progressives Congress (APC) vice-presidential candidate for the 2027 general election.

The presentation followed the APC’s recent confirmation of Shettima as Tinubu’s running mate, putting an end to months of speculation over whether the Vice President would be retained on the party’s presidential ticket.

A video of the event, shared on Thursday by the President’s Special Assistant on Social Media, Olusegun Dada, showed Shettima arriving at the venue before receiving the certificate from President Tinubu after a brief exchange.

While sharing the footage, Dada stated that the President had officially presented the certificate to Shettima as his running mate for the 2027 presidential election.
