PDP Sokoto Women Leaders Meet to Strengthen Grassroots Mobilisation

The Sokoto State Women Leader of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Hajiya Hadiza Abubakar Yinka, has held a strategic meeting with Women Leaders from the 23 Local Government Areas of the state to strengthen the party’s grassroots structure and improve women’s participation in political activities.

The meeting focused on promoting unity among women members, enhancing mobilisation efforts across the state, and reviewing strategies to position the party for future political engagements.

Addressing the participants, Hajiya Hadiza commended the commitment and dedication of the local government women leaders to the growth of the PDP.

She urged them to remain united and intensify efforts to mobilise more women and supporters at the grassroots, describing women as the backbone of the party.

She also encouraged the leaders to maintain regular engagement with party members in their respective local government areas, promote peace and unity, and continue supporting the party’s leadership at all levels.

The meeting concluded with a renewed commitment by the participants to work collectively towards strengthening the PDP and ensuring its continued progress and unity in Sokoto State.
