Hon. Ibrahim Mohammed Congratulates Emir of Gwandu at 85

The Honourable Member representing Birnin Kebbi, Kalgo and Bunza Federal Constituency, Hon. Ibrahim Mohammed, has congratulated the Emir of Gwandu and Chairman of Kebbi State Council of Traditional Leaders, Alhaji Muhammadu Iliyasu Bashar, on the occasion of his 85th birthday anniversary.

In a statement issued by his office, Hon. Ibrahim described the Emir as a symbol of wisdom, humility and exemplary leadership whose life has been dedicated to the service of Allah, humanity and societal progress.

He noted that before ascending the throne of the Gwandu Emirate, the monarch served the nation meritoriously in the military, where he distinguished himself through discipline, patriotism and commitment to national unity.

According to the lawmaker, the emirate has continued to enjoy peace, harmony and development under the leadership of the Emir, while cordial relations among different ethnic and religious communities have remained strong.

Hon. Ibrahim further praised the royal father’s guidance, devotion to justice and passion for community advancement, describing them as qualities worthy of emulation by present and future generations.

“As he marks 85 remarkable years of life and service to Allah and humanity, I join the good people of Gwandu Emirate, Kebbi State and well-wishers across the country in celebrating this exceptional royal father,” he said.

He prayed Almighty Allah to continue blessing the Emir with sound health, wisdom, strength and many more years of impactful leadership.
