Sokoto Jealous Wife Pours Hot Oil on Husband’s Private Part
A man in Sokoto State, Bello Abubakar, is recovering from severe burns after his wife allegedly poured hot melted butter on his genitals during a domestic dispute.
The incident occurred on Thursday at their home in the ‘Yar Gabas area of Sokoto metropolis. The woman reportedly accused her husband of speaking with another woman on the phone, an allegation he strongly denied.
Recounting the ordeal, Abubakar said he had returned from Subhi prayers and later prepared to go out when his wife, who appeared upset, approached him with a cup. Believing it was part of her usual routine during periods of emotional distress, he did not suspect any danger.
However, she suddenly poured the hot liquid on him, leaving him with serious injuries. He is currently receiving treatment at a specialist hospital and is said to be responding to care.
Gaskiyacast note that a family member disclosed that the couple had previously lived peacefully but hinted that recent personal challenges and possible external influence may have contributed to the incident.
Despite the severity of the attack, both families have reportedly chosen to resolve the matter amicably without pursuing legal action. Police authorities in Sokoto say they are yet to receive full details of the case.
