By Fahad Faruk Galadanchi

The Minority Leader of the Sokoto State House of Assembly, Hon. Abubakar Magaji, has expressed concern over what he described as the lack of significant development under the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

Magaji, who represents Bodinga North Constituency on the platform of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) stated this while addressing newsmen in Sokoto on Wednesday.

The lawmaker called on the Federal Government to urgently address infrastructure deficits and other development challenges confronting the state and its people.

He also raised concerns over the worsening security situation in Sokoto, claiming that 21 of the state’s 23 local government areas remain vulnerable to security threats.

According to him, only Sokoto North and Sokoto South local government areas could currently be considered relatively safe, while residents in other parts of the state continue to face security challenges.
