Tambuwal Condoles ADC Vice Presidential Candidate Amaechi Over Mother’s Death
Former Governor of Sokoto State and Senator representing Sokoto South, Aminu Waziri Tambuwal, has paid a condolence visit to former Rivers State Governor and African Democratic Congress (ADC) Vice Presidential Candidate, Rt. Hon. Rotimi Chibuike Amaechi, following the death of his mother, Dame Ezinne Amaechi.
Tambuwal visited Amaechi at his Abuja residence, where he sympathised with the family over the loss of the late matriarch, describing her as a woman who lived a fulfilled life marked by service to humanity, her family, and her community.
Speaking during the visit, Tambuwal said the passing of Dame Amaechi was a loss not only to her family but to all who knew her.
“This loss is one we all share. She lived a fulfilled life, devoted to her family and to the service of her community. She will be remembered for her humanitarian contributions and the positive impact she made during her lifetime,” Tambuwal said.
The senator, who led a delegation of ADC stakeholders from Sokoto State, offered prayers for the peaceful repose of the deceased and asked God to grant the Amaechi family the strength to bear the loss.
“Please accept our heartfelt condolences, Your Excellency. May Almighty God forgive her shortcomings, grant her eternal rest, and give the family the strength and fortitude to bear this irreparable loss,” he prayed.
The visit comes as sympathisers from across the country continue to identify with the Amaechi family following the passing of Dame Ezinne Amaechi, remembered for her humanitarian service and contributions to her community.
