NUJ Hails Kebbi Governor on Third Anniversary in Office

The Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Kebbi State Council, has congratulated Kebbi State Governor, Dr. Nasir Idris, Kauran Gwandu, on the successful completion of three years in office, describing his administration as impactful and people-oriented.
In a statement signed by the Chairman of the Council, Comrade Bello Sarki Abubakar, and the Secretary, Comrade Ismail Adebayo, the union commended the governor for what it described as remarkable achievements recorded across key sectors of the state economy.
According to the statement, the administration has made significant progress in infrastructure development, education, healthcare delivery, agriculture, water supply, rural electrification, and human capital development.
The NUJ noted that Governor Nasir Idris has demonstrated commitment toward improving the welfare of citizens through policies and programmes aimed at bringing meaningful development to communities across Kebbi State.
The council also praised the cordial relationship between the state government and media organisations, saying it reflects the governor’s respect for press freedom and appreciation of the role of journalists in promoting democratic governance and societal development.
While congratulating the governor on the milestone, the union expressed confidence that the administration would sustain the pace of development and continue to deliver more democratic dividends to the people of the state.
The NUJ further prayed for Allah’s continued guidance, wisdom, strength, and protection for Governor Nasir Idris as he continues to lead the state toward greater progress and prosperity.
