The African Democratic Congress (ADC) has announced adjustments to its 2026 primary election timetable following requests from aspirants and emerging logistical considerations.

In a statement issued by the party, the ADC said only affected dates were revised, while all previously announced schedules not mentioned remain unchanged.
According to the updated timetable, submission of nomination forms earlier scheduled for May 13 will now hold on May 14, 2026.
The party also shifted the screening of aspirants from May 14–15 to May 16–17, 2026, while publication of screening results will take place on May 17.
Appeals against screening decisions are scheduled for May 18–19, with publication of cleared candidates fixed for May 20, 2026.
ADC further announced post-primary election appeals timetable, stating that legislative election appeals will hold on May 22, governorship election appeals on May 23, while presidential election appeals are slated for May 26, 2026.
The party said presidential and governorship aspirants will be screened in Abuja, while legislative aspirants will undergo screening in their respective state capitals.
The notice also clarified that women and persons with disabilities are entitled to a 25 per cent concession on the standard nomination form cost, adding that refunds would be processed for applicants who paid above the approved rate.
The statement was signed by the ADC National Organising Secretary, Prince Chinedu Idigo, and the National Publicity Secretary, Mallam Bolaji Abdullahi.
