Senator Aminu Waziri Tambuwal has extended warm felicitations to Muslims in Nigeria and around the world on the occasion of Eid el-Fitr, marking the end of the holy month of Ramadan.
In a message shared on his official X account on Friday, the former Governor of Sokoto State expressed gratitude to Almighty Allah for granting the faithful the opportunity to complete the month-long fast. He described Ramadan as a period dedicated to supplication, reflection, and spiritual renewal.
Tambuwal prayed for the acceptance of all acts of worship observed during the sacred month and urged Muslims to sustain the virtues cultivated during Ramadan, including discipline, sacrifice, compassion, and obedience.
He also called on the Muslim faithful to remember the less privileged during the celebrations and to recommit themselves to building a more just, united, and compassionate society.
The senator further emphasised the importance of continued prayers for Nigeria, stressing that peace, stability, and national progress are vital for the country’s development.
Tambuwal concluded by wishing Muslims a joyful Eid celebration, praying that the occasion brings peace to homes and prosperity to the nation.
