Video: Three Killed, Several Injured in Fatal Trailer Brake Failure Accident in Gombe

At least three people have died, while many others sustained injuries following a tragic road accident that occurred in the Mile 3 Sabuwa area of Gombe town.

Reports indicate that the accident happened after a heavy-duty trailer truck coming from Taraba State lost its brakes while entering the area.

It was gathered that the driver attempted to avoid causing greater destruction by swerving off the road, but the truck still crushed several vehicles, shops, and people near the scene.

Sources confirmed that seven people were hit by the truck, with three of them dying instantly, while others suffered varying degrees of injuries.

Residents who gathered at the scene made efforts to rescue the victims and evacuate damaged goods before emergency responders and security personnel arrived.
