Sokoto Polytechnic, Sokoto Revenue Board Discuss Ways to Boost IGR

The Acting Rector of Umaru Ali Shinkafi Polytechnic, Sokoto, Engr. Aliyu Suleiman Mindaudu, has met with a delegation from the Sokoto State Board of Internal Revenue to discuss challenges affecting the institution’s internally generated revenue (IGR).
A statement by the Information Officer of the Polytechnic, Mukhtar Dodo Iya said the meeting focused on identifying the major challenges associated with revenue generation at the Polytechnic and exploring possible solutions to improve its financial sustainability.
The engagement also sought to strengthen revenue-generating mechanisms in ways that would support the development of the institution and contribute to the revenue base of Sokoto State.
The Polytechnic said the discussions were aimed at finding practical measures to address existing revenue challenges and enhance the institution’s financial capacity.
The meeting was attended by the Registrar, Comrade Sirajo Abubakar; Bursar, Mukhtar Bala; and Director of Management Information System (MIS), Abubakar Tambuwal.
