Sokoto APC Group Mobilises Support for Governor Aliyu’s 2027 Re-election

Nasiru Muhammad Ladan Solidarity Association for Governor Ahmed Aliyu Continuity 2027 has organised a mobilisation campaign in support of Sokoto State Governor, Ahmed Aliyu, and the state leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Senator Aliyu Magatakarda Wamakko.

The event, held on Sunday, convened together APC stakeholders, youths, women’s groups and supporters from various parts of Sokoto State.

The organiser of the gathering and Special Adviser to the Sokoto State Governor on Road Maintenance Agency, Hon. Mohammed Nasiru Ladan, said the mobilisation was aimed at reaffirming their support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Governor Aliyu and Senator Wamakko ahead of the 2027 general elections.

The gathering comes as Governor Aliyu has already been affirmed as the APC’s candidate for the 2027 Sokoto State governorship election.

Participants at the event commended Ladan, also known as Dan-iyan Gwadabawa, for what they described as his contributions to the APC and his support for members of the community.

They described him as a grassroots political figure whose activities, according to them, have contributed to strengthening the party’s structure across the state.

The participants also expressed their commitment to supporting the APC and its candidates at the presidential, governorship and other levels in the 2027 elections.

They further prayed for continued success for Ladan and urged members and supporters of the association to remain committed to the APC ahead of the elections.

Senator Wamakko is the APC leader in Sokoto State and currently represents Sokoto North Senatorial District.
