Gwadabawa Youths Hold Solidarity March for Atiku, Wali in Sokoto

Youths from Gwadabawa Local Government Area of Sokoto State on Saturday staged a solidarity march in support of the ADC Presidential Candidate, former Vice President Atiku Abubakar and Sokoto State African Democratic Congress (ADC) governorship candidate, Hon. Manir Muhammad Dan’iya, Walin Sokoto.

The march, held in Gwadabawa, attracted youths and supporters who displayed solidarity with the ADC presidential candidate and the party’s governorship candidate ahead of the 2027 general elections.

Participants carried placards bearing messages of support for Atiku and Dan’iya, while chanting solidarity slogans during the procession.

The development comes amid growing political activities by the ADC in Sokoto State ahead of the 2027 elections. The party had earlier unveiled Hon. Bello Isah Ambarura, representing Illela/Gwadabawa Federal Constituency, as its deputy governorship candidate.

The organisers said the march was intended to demonstrate the commitment of young people in Gwadabawa to the political movement and to mobilise support at the grassroots.

The procession is part of wider political mobilisation across Sokoto State as parties and their supporters intensify engagement with voters ahead of the 2027 elections.
