Dasuki Supports MBBS Students from Tambuwal/Kebbe with Laptop Computers

The Deputy Minority Leader of the House of Representatives, Hon. Abdussamad Dasuki, has donated laptop computers to Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) students of Tambuwal/Kebbe Federal Constituency to support their academic activities and research.

The beneficiaries, who are undergoing studies at various universities across Nigeria, received the computers at a ceremony held on Wednesday in Sokoto.

Represented by his Senior Legislative Aide, Hon. Attahiru Umar Danmadi, Dasuki said the donation was aimed at helping the students access learning materials, conduct research and take advantage of modern digital learning tools.

He said the initiative was part of his continued commitment to supporting education and improving the wellbeing of young people in his constituency.

According to him, education remains a major priority, which is why he has continued to contribute to the sector through various programmes, including an annual scholarship scheme for university students.

Dasuki also described the medicine profession as critical to the wellbeing of society, commending the beneficiaries for their dedication, hard work and commitment to their studies.

He said investment in education was an investment in the future of the constituency and the country at large, urging the students to make proper use of the computers and remain focused on achieving their academic goals.

Speaking on behalf of the beneficiaries, Saifullahi Nuhu Kebbe, a MBBS student from Usmanu Danfodiyo University, Sokoto, expressed appreciation to Dasuki for the gesture.

He said the computers would greatly assist the students with their studies, research, academic assignments and access to emerging developments in the medical field.

Kebbe described the donation as timely, noting that access to modern digital devices had become an essential component of medical education.

He assured the lawmaker that the beneficiaries would make effective use of the computers and remain committed to their studies.
