Dan’iya Congratulates Atiku, Pledges Full Support for ADC Ahead of 2027

The Governorship Candidate of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) in Sokoto State, Hon. Manir Muhammad Dan’iya (Walin Sokoto), has congratulated former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar, on his emergence as the Presidential Candidate of the ADC for the 2027 general elections.
In a statement issued through his Press Secretary, Aminu Abdullahi, Hon. Dan’iya described Atiku’s emergence as a major milestone for the party and a significant step toward repositioning Nigeria for economic growth, peace, national unity, and sustainable development.
The ADC governorship candidate praised Atiku Abubakar for his longstanding commitment to democracy, inclusive governance, economic reforms, and national development, noting that his experience and understanding of governance would strengthen public confidence in the party’s vision for Nigeria.
According to Hon. Dan’iya, millions of Nigerians are yearning for competent and people-oriented leadership capable of addressing the country’s pressing socio-economic challenges, including insecurity, unemployment, inflation, poverty, and declining confidence in governance.
He stated that the ADC remains committed to policies that prioritize economic recovery, youth empowerment, quality education, improved healthcare delivery, infrastructure development, social welfare, and national security.
Hon. Dan’iya further emphasized that the ADC under Atiku Abubakar’s leadership is determined to restore hope, strengthen democratic institutions, create opportunities for young people, and reposition Nigeria among the leading nations of the world.
He called on Nigerians across religious, ethnic, and political divides to support the ADC in the 2027 elections, stressing that national progress can only be achieved through unity, collective commitment, and active democratic participation.
The Sokoto ADC gubernatorial candidate also assured the party’s presidential candidate of his unwavering loyalty and support toward ensuring the success of the party at both state and national levels.
Hon. Dan’iya equally commended Senator Aminu Waziri Tambuwal for his leadership role and strategic contributions toward strengthening the ADC coalition movement.
He noted that Senator Tambuwal’s political maturity, experience, and commitment to democratic values have continued to play a significant role in promoting opposition collaboration and building a united front capable of delivering credible leadership to Nigerians.
Hon. Dan’iya expressed confidence that the ADC coalition would continue to gain wider acceptance across the country as Nigerians prepare for what he described as a new chapter of inclusive governance and national renewal.
He concluded by praying for divine guidance, wisdom, and success for the ADC leadership as the party intensifies efforts toward providing a better future for all Nigerians.
