Operation Fansan Yamma Appoints New Acting Media Information Officer as Lt. Col. Danja Vows Out

The Joint Task Force North West, Operation FANSAN YAMMA, has appointed Captain SO Tamuno as its Acting Media Information Officer following the completion of Lt. Col. Aliyu Danja’s tour of duty with the operation.
Lt. Col. Danja announced the development in a farewell message to members of the media, stating that he had been posted to another formation of the Nigerian Army.
The outgoing Media Information Officer expressed appreciation to journalists for their support, cooperation and professionalism throughout his tenure.
He noted that the media had played a significant role in communicating the operational achievements, sacrifices and successes of troops in the joint operations area.
Lt. Col. Danja also acknowledged the cordial working relationship established with media practitioners, adding that their commitment to accurate reporting, timely inquiries and responsible dissemination of information had contributed to projecting the activities of the operation.
He solicited continued cooperation and support for Captain Tamuno, expressing confidence in his ability to sustain and strengthen the existing relationship between the operation and the media.
The outgoing officer further expressed optimism that the professional relationships and mutual respect established during his tenure would endure beyond his departure from Operation FANSAN YAMMA.
