INEC Opens Online Portal for 2027 General Election Ad-Hoc Staff Recruitment
The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has announced the activation of its online platform for the recruitment of ad-hoc staff for the 2027 General Election.
According to a public notice issued by the Commission, the INECPRES portal will open for interested applicants from 8:00am on Friday, September 18, 2026, and close at 12 midnight on Wednesday, November 18, 2026.
INEC said applications will be submitted online through its official website, www.inecnigeria.org, with access provided through both the web and mobile application platforms.
The Commission stated that applicants using laptops or desktop computers can access the web version of the portal through pres.inecnigeria.org.
For Android users, INEC said the mobile application can be accessed through www.inecnigeria.org/pres.apk or https://inecpres-app.com/pres-app.apk.
The recruitment exercise is part of preparations for the 2027 General Election, as INEC seeks to engage eligible personnel to support the conduct of the elections.
