Tinubu: 21 MSME Hubs Supporting 650,000 Jobs Across Nigeria

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has said his administration has established 21 shared Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) facilities across 19 states and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), supporting businesses and an estimated 650,000 jobs.
The President disclosed this in a statement highlighting his administration’s commitment to reducing the cost of doing business and expanding opportunities for Nigerian entrepreneurs under the Renewed Hope Agenda.
“A tailor should not need millions of naira to buy industrial machines before she can grow her business, neither should a food processor have to build a factory before they can produce at scale,” Tinubu said.
He explained that the shared MSME hubs provide entrepreneurs with access to modern equipment, reliable electricity and production facilities without requiring them to bear the full cost of establishing such infrastructure.
“This is why I have made expanding shared MSME hubs part of our Renewed Hope agenda for small businesses,” he stated.
The President noted that the initiative is designed to help small businesses increase production, reduce operational expenses and expand their operations.
“We now have 21 shared facilities across 19 states and the FCT, supporting businesses and an estimated 650,000 jobs,” he added.
Tinubu stressed that Nigerian entrepreneurs possess the creativity, skills and determination needed to build successful businesses, adding that the government must create an enabling environment for them to thrive.
“Our people have the ideas, skills and determination to build successful businesses. Our responsibility as a government is to ensure that we remove the barriers in their way, lower the cost of doing business and give Nigerian enterprise every opportunity to grow and create jobs,” the President said.
He reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to strengthening small businesses, boosting productivity and expanding employment opportunities across the country.
