Governor Aliyu Redeploys Commissioners, Permanent Secretaries, Advisers, SSAs

Sokoto State Governor, Ahmed Aliyu Sokoto, has approved the immediate redeployment and reassignment of four commissioners, seven special advisers, eleven permanent secretaries/acting permanent secretaries, and three senior special assistants across various ministries and offices in the state.
The changes were contained in a statement issued by the Director General, Media and Publicity to the Governor.
Under the new arrangement, Hon. Balarabe Kadadi was redeployed from the Ministry of Culture to the Ministry of Youths and Sports, while Dr. Bashir Achida moved from the Office of the Secretary to the State Government (SSG) to the Ministry of Budget and Economic Development.
Nura Shehu Tangaza was transferred from the SSG’s Office to the Ministry of Environment, while Engr. Mustapha Kofar Marke moved from the Ministry of Youths and Sports to the Ministry of Culture.
Seven special advisers were also reassigned to new areas of responsibility.
Garba Moh’d S/Birni was moved from the SSG’s Office to Legislative Matters; Muhtari Bello Abdurrahman was assigned Environmental Sanitation Matters; and Shi’itu M. Bello was moved to Corporate and Social Responsibility.
Others include Alh. Tukur Sanyinna, assigned to Domestic Affairs; Alh. Abdullahi Jabo, to Economic Planning; Mamman Aliyu Salihu, to the Department of Tourism; and Faruku Labbo, who moved from Domestic Affairs to Political Matters.
The governor also approved new responsibilities for three senior special assistants.
Jimmai Bello Kware was moved from the SSG’s Office to Women and Affirmative Action, while Nana Mamman Nasarawa was assigned to Women Stakeholders Engagement. Mr. Emmanuel Okereke was redeployed from the SSG’s Office to Resident Community Enlightenment.
The governor further approved the redeployment of 11 permanent secretaries/acting permanent secretaries.
Aliyu Ladan Isa was moved from the Ministry of Solid Minerals to the Ministry of Women and Children Affairs, while Usman Arzika Bodinga was transferred from Home Affairs to the Ministry of Skills Acquisition and Entrepreneurship.
Isma’ila Ibrahim Binji was redeployed from the Ministry of Special Duties to the Ministry of Higher Education, while Buhari Umar moved from Administration and General Services to the Ministry of Budget and Economic Development.
Moh’d Bello Yusuf was transferred from the Ministry of Transport to the Department of Security, while Aliyu Magaji moved from Administration and General Services to the Ministry of Special Duties.
Abdullah B. Mohammed was transferred from Administration and General Services to the Ministry of Solid Minerals, while Musa Mohammed moved from Administration and General Services to the Ministry of Transport.
Sidi Almustapha was redeployed from the Ministry of Science and Technology to the Ministry of Youths and Sports, while Hadiza Galadima moved from the Ministry of Youths and Sports to the Ministry of Science and Technology.
Jibril Sa’adu was also redeployed from Administration and General Services to the Ministry of Home Affairs.
According to the statement, all the redeployments and new postings take immediate effect.
