BREAKING: Atiku Wins ADC Presidential Primary in Sokoto with Landslide Victory

Former Vice President of Nigeria and presidential aspirant of the African Democratic Congress ADC, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, has emerged victorious in the party’s presidential primary election in Sokoto State, held on Monday.
Announcing the results at the ADC State Secretariat in Sokoto, the state presidential primary collation officer, Prof. Aminu Abubakar, disclosed that out of 69,871 registered voters, a total of 69,434 votes were cast during the exercise.
According to the results, Atiku secured an overwhelming 68,823 votes to defeat his closest rivals. Alhaji Muhammad Hayatudeen garnered 319 votes, while former Rivers State Governor and former Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi, polled 292 votes.
The declaration of the results was witnessed by prominent party leaders and stakeholders, including former Sokoto State Governor and leader of the ADC in the state, Senator Aminu Waziri Tambuwal, former Deputy Governor and ADC governorship candidate, Manir Muhammad Dan’iya, the state party chairman, Hon. Abdullahi Maigwandu, and former Nigerian Ambassador to Jordan, Amb. Faruku Malami Yabo, among others.
