Former SDP Governorship Candidate in Sokoto Defects to ADC

A former governorship candidate of the Social Democratic Party SDP in Sokoto State, Alhaji Abubakar Sadiq has officially defected to the African Democratic Congress ADC.

Sadiq’s move is sein as part of ongoing political realignments ahead of the 2027 general elections, as politicians across party lines continue to reposition.
