Tambuwal Mourns Passing of El-Rufai’s Mother, Offers Prayers and Condolences
The immediate past Governor of Sokoto State, and the Senator representing Sokoto South in the National Assembly, Aminu Waziri Tambuwal, has expressed deep sorrow over the passing of Hajiya Umma El-Rufai, mother of former Kaduna State Governor, Nasir El-Rufai.
In a condolence message shared via his official X (formerly Twitter) account, Senator Tambuwal extended sympathies to El-Rufai, his family, and all those grieving the loss. He described the death of a mother as a profound and irreplaceable loss, noting the deep emotional pain that accompanies such a moment.
The ADC stalwart prayed that Almighty Allah, in His infinite mercy, forgives the shortcomings of the deceased and grants her Aljannatul Firdaus. He also prayed for strength, patience, and comfort for the bereaved family during this difficult time.
Tambuwal further noted that the life and legacy of Hajiya Umma El-Rufai would continue to inspire those who knew her, serving as a source of comfort despite the grief.
