Sokoto Hajj Agency Partners NAHCON for Smooth Hajj Operations

The Sokoto State Pilgrims Welfare AgencyPWA has reiterated its resolve to deepen collaboration with the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria NAHCONto ensure efficient and hitch free Hajj operations for pilgrims from the state.

This assurance was given by the Permanent Secretary of the agency, Ibrahim Umar JJ, when he received the acting zonal coordinator of NAHCON, Hafsat Naibi, during a courtesy visit.

He noted that the relationship between the two organisations has remained strong over the years, adding that further strengthening of the partnership would improve coordination, logistics, and overall service delivery during Hajj.

Umar stressed that sustained cooperation is vital to ensuring the welfare of intending pilgrims and the success of the entire pilgrimage process.

In her response, Naibi appreciated the agency for the warm reception and reaffirmed NAHCON’s commitment to supporting the Sokoto PWA. She pledged continued collaboration to enhance operations and deliver a seamless Hajj experience.

The renewed pledge by both institutions comes as preparations continue for future Hajj exercises, with emphasis on stronger synergy to achieve improved outcomes.
